Locking camera to view

Locking camera to the view is a very powerful option available in Thea for SketchUp.

The idea is to render interactively in the Thea Rendering window and lock the camera to the view. Doing that also means that you will now be able to navigate around the SketchUp's viewport without affecting the camera of the rendered image.

How to lock Camera to View

  1. Make sure that the Interactive Rendering switch is on.
  2. Select "in Thea Window" from the drop-down.
  3. Start Interactive Rendering.
  4. Click on the Interactive Rendering button to turn it off.

You can now freely move around the scene without changing the viewpoint in the Thea Rendering window.
