nice .. how long did this take ? and how many trum-bones are there in this render ?

I don't know exactly. I think about 400, which are not all in the frame. I used the populated field to pick a dramatic angle. I made a mirror below the plane of trombones, to add more depth and visualy more trombones. I love the way Thea handles the reflections. Not entirely happy with the loss of curve at close range though.

About 40 min in BSD, on a i7 3930, 16 gb.
