You are correct. This the only way to license Thea for SketchUp for a year or 3 years.

Hello, don't forget, with the lease license
you can render on any machine ( the license is float only internet connection you need),
without hardware restrictions and you can get v3 automatically inside the subscription if it is released inside the year of your subscription!

an example, you get one license,
and with that you can render on your mac or your windows. Not Both the same time. Or your favorite rendering machine.
You can borrow your license for some time on a machine, and with that you can be offline for some days. Let's say you want to take your laptop to go to a business trip. But you can not use any other machine for the time you have borrowed the license.
