What makes no sense to you might be very sensitive to others. For me it is funds allocation. As it is still undefined - 2 xeons + 780 gtx or 3930 + 2x780s for side render node - now I'll have these funds in a month, not this week. The financial boss is on vacation starting this saturday for the whole four weeks.
So, no render node, no thea node license for next 4 weeks.

With people always asking 1000 times for the same, difficult to stay silent for long ^^ (but I understand)

No, keep talking. What's wrong with some anticipation?

Yes, were're not begging for anything...just showing our desire for the next revision.

I'm sure it's much appreciated... ;)

Funny you should mention this, Panga...
I'm on the exact same page as you are...
Personally I can't use the GPU option as my crappy old laptop doesn't have a CUDA graphic card...
I will get a new laptop within the next month...
ATM I aim at a Dell Precision M6700 with Intel Core i7, Nvidia Quadro K3000M graphic card and a lot of other goodies...
This should enable me to take advantage of the GPU render options, but for most of what I'm doing, I believe the new field mapping render methods will be the key for me...
Cheers
