@Pixero: the reason that I haven't given render times was due to two tech announcements to be made in the very near future. The render times depend on these forthcoming announcements rather than the introduction of SSS in Presto. For example, Patrick states the render times above but these have come out so small due to these two other advances. This is the reason I was leaving it for later but anyway, it is good Patrick states them here to give you an idea how Thea Presto v1.3 stands currently.

Best wishes

What I miss for all tech previews is hardware used, resolution and render time.
It would be great if you added a render stamp feature in Thea so users can easily add it to their renders.
I rendered those images on a i7 3930k 3.2 GHz + GTX 680 2GB ... and the longest render took 25 minutes and the shortest 3 minutes :)

Greetings Patrick
Thanks for the info. What was the resolution?

I understand, but a render stamp would still be a good addition to Thea.

Ah, ok! Now, I got your point, render info imprinted on the image itself. :)

Patrick did a great job putting the renders together. Presto 1.3 is looking to be a huge update done in a short period of time.
