Dear friends,

we have made an improvement for all render engines, related to the physical sky. Thea's sky in v1.3 is much more accurate for spectral rendering and yields much better results in higher values of turbidity (which are usually wanted to give special mood to a render). The parameters for the new physical sky model are basically the same with similar influence on the image but more accurate response.

I believe that showing some images is much better than saying more words, so here are some renders. :)

Best wishes

Wow, these look fantastic  Looking forward to trying out the new physical sky.

Will there be any kind of guide or mini tutorial showing how to achieve different effects/moods?

I'll love to know how you did the second one, is that without GM?

I think not, it is a box volume. Patrick can post the scene or, better, we could add it on site as example scene.

Best wishes
