Read this message right after my vacations... very good news. Working on speed is still the most important thing for me. If speed becomes faster I wonder what will come in Version 2 but it can not be more important then again more speed :roll:

In my work, i tell again, I need to render between maybe 4-10 Images for a project and I need to render them in a workday. I can render them with the actually version of Thea but sometimes not in the quality I yould like to have. So speed up is not more Images but same Images with better quality and this is the point ;) Wait for the new Version!

This are great news!! :D More speed!! This could help while waiting for GPU rendering! :D Is there something on that front? I suppose that if it is... you can't talk about it yet!! so don't mind hahah

Just love Thea, the team and this speed up will be very important! :D

Thank you so much for this Giannis and theateam, I remember I was posting not so long ago about the long time it took to build the environment in a heavy scene and seems you guys where already working on it! You guys are just incredible, the only negative point that I could think of is now completely gone, now grass fields with a highly detailed grass instanced will be possible!

and thanks for the other speed improvements off course; more speed => more time to make little adjustments => better renders!
