I was just wondering the same. Thanks for the explanation. It would be nice to see some comparisons for speed, noise, accuracy etc.

Thanks SandroS. It would be useful to have "QUALITY" slider for us dummies, not to think about this things :)

explanations are quiet nice IMO... testing I discovered something I never noticed: With scene GlassOfWater. When increasing the Tracing depth to about=8 it completly changes the appearence of the water..!
As many as already asked, it would be nice to get those rendering methods in the darkroom for network rendering.

Saved IR settings can be find from "C:\ProgramData\Thea Render\Config\IR Settings.xml". One need to build a preset based on that and save it in C:\ProgramData\Thea Render\Presets.
You can then use IR in the darkroom and use network rendering, Rombout has posted one for AMC ;)
