Very great news for someone like me...who mostly uses IR for is final renderings in Thea

Yes you can do God Rays with AMC, actually you could do them with Unbias(MC)

AMC is very quick for medium effects and cleans up VERY quickly

It's posted in the forum "technology preview" so it's just a preview not available yet

edit: I spoke too soon it's available now

Adaptive AMC is available now in forum downloads (new revision 610) but to use it in normal render settings you have to do some dirty work and create a render preset (because it does not appear as drop down option - only for IR).
