Made me curious...
Motiva Layama looks really great!

Haven't been making any renders the past couple of years, but lately I've been playing a little with SimLab Soft and their VR options.
Certainly not as realistic as Thea Render and what's shown on Motiva Layama, but it all depends on the job and need... ;)

But even in Thea Render you can make spherical renders and with another software like Garden Gnome you're able to make similar virtual tours... :geek:
Hi Frederik!
Nice to read you! Now you're giving me the opportunity to thank you for the help you provided me while I was learning!
Too bad you haven't been around lately. Hopefully you are healthy.
thanks again for everything, it will always be nice to see you around! :D

Thanks, Nicolas!
I haven't had much time - nor the need - to make renders during the past app. 2 years...
But I've been missing it and I've been visiting this forum occasionally...

Covid-19 has been troublesome for many, many people... My self included...
Last year I lost my job, but fortunately I got a new job - same business, same position - in a bigger company...
So while things looked very dark, it's turned out to be to my fortune and I now have a better job, where I'm designing commercial kitchens for hotels, hospitals, schools, company cantines etc...

I still don't have any need for making renders in my professional career, where I'm using AutoCad, Sketchup and I'm also learning Revit...
But I enjoy making renders and will start looking deeper into Thea for SU 3... :) :geek:

COVID-19 certainly shook a lot of people professionally indeed. I'm glad to hear you recovered on this side of life!
I'm still hesitant to commit to Thea 3... While Thea has been my companion for me for the last 12 years, I still have to investigate the practical and financial consequences of the subscription-based policy.
I truly admire Tomasz's work and commitment but I must admit I miss the enthusiasm of the early community of users...

Again, nice to hear from you!
Take care and see you around!

Since covid I'm just a beta tester, we moved house, death of loved ones (collateral damage caused by covid) I think your signature is never truer Nicolas
I'm not a fan of subscription either, I enjoy being a tester so I keep going, it's probably the only thing keeping me doing 3D at the moment.. but it's "summer" (pissing down in the UK!) my view might change come winter lol
