Thanks JQL and Rombout for critisism. I really appreciate this because I work alone and sometimes a bit of feedback of outsiders can be very usefull!

@JQL: The sunflare is mostly asked by clients because they like the mood more like this though indeed it is not realistic and correct. The bricks could indeed be a bit less reflective, it was not asked by architects but they did not point it out as a problem. In my next projects I will take this into account. All the images are needed to sell the apartments or buildings so I keep the overall look a bit cleaner indeed.

@Rombout : Do you mean by 'BW overlay' the fake sun flare? Or something else?
The hedges are very simple to make. I bought the DIY bundle from PIXERO --> https://www.thearender.com/forum/viewto ... 93&t=21113 ( not expensive for such a great bundle !! )
I create a volume in Sketchup and then brush it with instancing, I do all my rendering in Thea ( not TheaforSketchup ).

No i meant black /white overlay in post, thats how you get a harsh contrast.

Wow you do all the work in studio? why not get Skatter for SU? staying inside sketchuo is way more easier to work with it

Studio is more stable on my system. Studio reacts faster with instancing than skatter so it's more interesting to work with for me.

Its very very limited compared to Skatter, some items are tedious even. But you get the results done, that matters.

So beautiful! i love the way you manage your colors, images look so clean and vegetation so vivid, i specially like two first shots you posted and the one with the brick facade, very nice work! Composition and vegetation is what i like the most!

Really good renders indeed. Would you mind sharing information regards to what engine/settings did you use on interior scenes? What sources you use for (interior detail) 3d models? Don't tell me you're creating everything yourself :D Keep posting!

Thank you all!

@Rombout : Yes skatter has indeed a lot more options than instancing in studio. Studio reacts a bit faster (certainly with big scenes) though so I hope in theaV2 the instancing wil be upgraded in functionality ;)

@d4m4rk : For interior in general I use Presto AO TD5 DD1. Image 'Beeld008' and image 'Beeld009' were rendered with AO Distance 10,000 and Intensity 10,000. Always with light portals. ISO 120. Most of the good models are from 3Dsky ( obj or fbx | not very expensive and good quality ).

Thanks for info- useful! Just wondering if DD1 gains lot of time compared to DD2 - never used DD1 myself. And AO D&I values really do depend on the scene- result can be really good with both high & low values. Intresting stuff.
How do you use fbx in thea?
