@Rombout : Yes skatter has indeed a lot more options than instancing in studio. Studio reacts a bit faster (certainly with big scenes) though so I hope in theaV2 the instancing wil be upgraded in functionality ;)
Well thats kind of logic :) All the 3d data is already there. Where as the plugin needs to export it all first. That what i love about the "reuse mesh" feature the Thea4Blender plugin has. If you use this option, it will look and check if a model has been exported. Which will reduce the export time significant. A scene which takes for example 3-4 minutes only for the export only now takes 10 seconds orso.

Also another big thing is textures. All the textures are already in studio loaded. Where as the plugins need to reload all of them each time you render. What would be great if the engine stayed on in the backside and would keep all texture, then you would only need to merge the new export of the scene and check for possible new textures.

Just one thing to say: Bravo !
That's outstanding work you've done there!

I don't agree with the others, for me the sense of cleanness and minimalism in your images makes them stand out even more. Don't change it, you have one consistent look/style and it's great

You have great images on your website also

Just one thing, working in studio is maybe more responsive but a lot more awkward, you should give the thea4su another go as it's really well made. 2-3 years ago I was still working a lot in studio but now the ease of use of the plugin makes me never open studio again (even if I think the responsiveness could be better).

Greetings from brussels neighbour

Thanks dbalex and majid!

@dbalex : When I have a bit more time then I will definitely try thea4SU again, maybe I'll change my mind.
Your website by the way is stunning man, really nice projects and images!
I wonder how many Belgians use Thea, how many Thea advertisement reach Belgians.

Hi Alexis, am I the other belgian office you're talking about?
Actually I don't have any time to work with Thea anymore, because clients tend to come by too late to render the classic way (Thea, Vray, Corona, etc.).
It took me 3 years to consolidate a 3d library to use with Thea but I don't use it anymore, which is a pity.

Geert, your renderings are really special, very white (always at the limit of pure white) and on some uncalibrated monitors, you risk to lose details in the hilights. Yet it is a style, of course!
The greenery is beautiful, the cutouts are nicely integrated, detailed models, very pro.

Perhaps some images look too crisp on my screen, mostly when there are brickworks and they show unnatural micro-contrast/clarity.

Other than that, beautiful work! Thanks for sharing and kutgw!

Thanks Rombout. The planks were free, I think from https://3dsky.org/3dmodels/category/der ... order=free

The planks were originally orange, I changed the colour a bit.

I made a texture from the planks with photoshop. Here you have it :
