giving away plumeria alba package for free.

pr.jpg
product link : https://gum.co/zMmRg
add promo code ( ps_trees ) and get 100% discount

You can share this wherever you like . :)
Wow thats really generous! PS you could or should do perhaps 1 sample tree per kit. Also, im not sure why you haven't added mod and proxy files. That would be really usefull for users i think.

I think your price is kinda low actually, you have 3 tree for just $10. Though they all seem to be adult tree trees, so not much variation. But on the other hand, perhaps with a lower price you have way bigger volume and thus better sales.

Looking at these images they look really good. I live in the Dutch Caribbean and we have a lot of Plumeria Rubra here, i love those trees. Seeing your image i noticed immediately they look stunning!

I would love to see FBX or OBJ format as well so i could use them in other software. I can import the SKP of course, but this is about making it easy for customers :)

EDIT
One thing i noticed is that it has messed up UV's. I thought it was due to importing SKP into Blender. But when i checked the SU models, they also show it.

thank you rombout :) and thank you for uv report , i will check it.
about giving proxy : there are two thing
(1) users have different choices for proxy , say triangles and points , and number of triangles or points , this is also applicable for vray proxy too. (2) as i said in my previous post , reaching at this product level takes too much work. making proxy is not something that users cant do by themselves . and it unnecessarily burdens my work , i can use that useful time in making things beautiful.

about giving 1 tree sample file per package : i think thats a bad idea , actually nothing is working .
reduced the rate from 28$ to 10$ , gave 1 package for free , nothing is working .
what i am missing ?
(1)i have made this specially for sketchup users , i balanced the polygon count and view quality .
(2)i am sure , no one is giving this quality in this price and for three render engine ready.

i got support from thomas from skatter , and duane kemp , after that i got almost 500 views , and number of sales i got is " ZERO "
at this time i am writing , i have ZERO sales in my account . after i gave a package free , i almost got 150 views , and the number of persons downloaded is "SEVEN" , number of persons visited from Thea is 10 , and download are 2 , i cant understand what is the problem in downloading the premium thing for free by just adding email .

anyone who is thinking of making something like me for sketchup users should read this post first . so they dont get disappointments after. i think this is the reason why corona stopped developing plugin for sketchup.
i am very much close to giving up on this . is it too early ? is it ok that i did not get at least 1 sell in 500 views ?

rombout you are familiar with blender , should i divert my work towards blender ? or for any other softwere ? because i want to make my work big. i want to make huge library .this work is challenging even for a small plant , but i am enjoying this.

Well for making models you should use what is the easiest and the fastest for you. I think you are already using a dedicated plant modeling app. Not sure why you would need to divert to blender.

Concerning the models, you have 500 views, in what time frame is that? Im not really formilliar with this. Perhaps you should try to reach out to other which are formiliar on that part.

A lot of users want the models in the native form for the application they use. Thats why you see a lot of 3dmax and other big formats. Adding more formats makes your target audiance wider and possible can provide more sales. But you would also need to have knowledge of more engines.

Thanks rombout , i was asking about the market , making trees FOR particular program.
But as you said i can add more formats. There are 3 big formats i khow of. .max , fbx and obj , in max i know basics of vray and corona , about fbx and obj , is there anything special needed ? Or i can just export it from max?
For 500 views time period is 5 working days, my all concerns and worries are because not getting a SINGLE sell :(

I wouldn't be too surprised about those stats. Most people only buy things when they need it, not at the first page visit, but after searching and comparing.
In this case they were handed a link, and 500 of them found it interesting enough to have a look.

It's all about getting some visibility now, so people will remember where to find you when they actually need it.

Nice work btw!

Although they look good I personally don't have much use for those types of trees.
Most of what I need are delicate young urban trees kind of like these with high stems.
