Hi,
A few images done recently. I was trying out new aspect ratios and found that 3:1 works well with interior shots for showing more of the room without having to go for extreme wide focal lengths that can distort the image. the wide format might not be everyone's cup of tea especially the purists, but i kinda like it!
Each image was rendered for around 45 mins and i used the optix denoiser. It could have cooked for longer, but I was pressed for time.
Thanks for watching!

Very nice. And 3:1 is good choice.

Hi Paresh!
You are right. I wasn't thinking much about those plants when I was doing the renders. It was more about the design and trying to accommodate the constraints of the budget with the already existing space and interior elemts such as the wall decor and the back wooden panelling. Will definitely keep in mind next time around!

And thank you Saurus! The 3:1 was actually a happy little accident which I DEcided to further explore and in the process just loved it!

Nice!
I like the ratio very much, although it does not always help with the need to use a wide camera angle. Your second image illustrates just that, you chose to use a wide camera angle and the room's geometry shows it very much.

And while I'm here, I hope nobody will be thirsty because the water bottles are obviously (in close up images) empty :D

Thanks Damj! That second image was using a 24mm lens, which is not necessarily a wide angle. I wouldn't have been able to show that Led wall without the 3:1 ratio.

Haha.. Yes. I hope so too.. But I reckon, especially with how things are going on, they would start selling bottles with pure air too in the near future! 😉

Interesting design. Looks a little tight? Is there room to pull the chair out and sit?

Good question... Most cases there is.. Only 2 seats would have slight problems.. But that's something the end user will have to live with especially considering the fact that they get more seats.
