Yes it will be a problem. Originally I considered this to be technically correct but the major issue will be with your Thea license. Materials, models and libraries will be sync'd but the license there will be error message most likely.

Using dropbox folder only has true potential for use as real-time backup for your resources.

I am using SketchUp Pro 2015 and I also use Thea Render. Most of the time I am running thru SketchUp. Can I use these new materials in SketchUp? If so, how do I get them into the Materials Library to use? Please be specific and concise in your response.

Install library in Studio.

Use thea browser to insert materials in Sketchup.
