Where do I find this version for download? Fantastic new revision of Thea!giannis wrote:hi,
the problem might be coming from incorrect Colimo version. Thea is compatible with Colimo v1.2 which is about to be published.

I did get 99-100% load with my test.patricks wrote: But there is something Zacchia say that makes me wonder ... the CPU only get loaded 80% and that's strange as i get always a 99 - 100% load ... so here we could have something else going on too ...

There seems to be an issue here, which also depends on machine type and processor coresnotareal wrote: I did get 99-100% load with my test.
(more evident now that the engine core is faster). It's not a bug but a "fix" is underway right
now and expected to be available in next revision (coming in 2-3 days).

The resolution is like the images you have 640x480. 8 threads.patricks wrote: need to know the render resolution you made the render with and how many threads ..... as here the new tracing depth per material will make a difference

I get the same as Dallas mid 80% to about 96% on two cores, could AMD processors be a factor?

Maybe stating the obvious, but you need to purchase one...hammer wrote:I just downloaded colimo but it sais "please contact us to get a valid licence". How do I do this?

I don't think so, I get the same on dual Xeons in a MacPro from 2008 (pre-I7).nigec wrote:I get the same as Dallas mid 80% to about 96% on two cores, could AMD processors be a factor?

Did another test with versions v1.0.10.505/v1.1.01.568 with another scene:
version v1.0.10.505 rendertime with tr1 427 seconds means 100%
version v1.1.01.568 rendertime with tr1 365 seconds means 85%
or
version v1.0.10.505 rendertime with tr1 427 seconds means 117%
version v1.1.01.568 rendertime with tr1 365 seconds means 100%
version v1.0.10.505 rendertime with BSD 1508 seconds means 100%
version v1.1.01.568 rendertime with BSD 1196 seconds means 79%
or
version v1.0.10.505 rendertime with BSD 1508 seconds means 126%
version v1.1.01.568 rendertime with BSD 1196 seconds means 100%
I was just wondering. I see that different scenes makes different results.
